OnePlus, which is skipping "4" is expected to launch its next flagship OnePlus 5 with 8GB RAM in June. OnePlus confirmed a Summer launch date.The phone is called OnePlus 5 because company wanted to avoid number 4, As it is believed to be unlucky in china. Previous rumors suggested that the phone will come with 6GB of RAM but in a leaked it's now proved that OnePlus 5 will come with 8GB of RAM.
As per a leaked screenshot from Chinese blog Weibo, the 128GB storage variant of the OnePlus 5 smartphone will pack 8GB of RAM and will run Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box based on HydrogenOS , Coupled with 64GB and 128GB built-in storage respectively.
OnePlus 5 is expected to come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC. It is rumoured to come with 5.5-inch quad-HD (1440x2560 pixels) display.
After the teaser drops, the OnePlus 3T Gunmetal variant also appears to have been discontinued .To recall, the 128GB variant was only available in Gunmetal color in India. The smartphone is no longer being sold on the OnePlus Store in India or even Amazon India site.
