Reliance Jio is likely to upgrade it's most of the existing recharge plans and will soon be introducing new plans with additional benefits, according to some source. The new recharge plans will come under Jio's 'Happy New Year 2018' offer and will be made available to subscribers by 9 January 2018. Jio's existing prepaid recharge plans that offer 1GB data per day (like Rs. 309, Rs. 399, Rs. 459, Rs. 499 and other plans) will either offer more data or get a price cut of Rs. 50.
Starting 9 Jan, JIO plans (Rs. 199, Rs. 399, Rs. 459 and Rs. 499 ) will cost Rs. 149, Rs. 349, Rs. 399 and Rs. 449, respectively. Details of the plans, such as the data allocation, calling, and SMS benefits as well as access to free apps, will remain the same as before.
New 1.5GB data per day plans will also be made available at the cost of the existing plans, Which means you will have a chance of getting 50% more data at the same price. Jio is bringing these plans at the price range Rs. 198, Rs. 398, Rs. 448, and Rs. 498. These are the price points of the 1GB data per day plan.
It is not yet clear when the offer will be made available to customers but can be expected on Tuesday. The move will come into effect just days before the ongoing Jio promotion with cashback and vouchers of up to Rs. 3,300 ends.
